Maranta Leuconeura or Prayer plant gets its common name from how their leaves fold up like praying hands at night. She is quite friendly with both pets and humans and will enjoy a greenhouse like environment - high humidity and good airflow.
- Light - Medium to bright indirect light
- Water - Let the top two inches dry between watering / Filtered or distilled water is recommended
- Humidity - Ideally 60% and above but will do just fine in normal household humidity level as long as it doesn't go below 30%
- Temperature - Between 60ºF – 80ºF
- Toxicity - This plant is not toxic to pets
